After almost four months, ten countries, and thousands of kilometers, we’re back home. Just in time for the start of summer break.

We’ve both been to Hungary several times. I used to manage a development team for Siemens in Budapest, and Alex has some distant relatives in Hungary.

Our next country on the way home is Romania. A country with a rather questionable reputation. I’m curious to see what’s changed since my last visit.

The Bulgarians are different—different from the Greeks. When it comes to social interactions, Bulgaria feels like a much tougher place.

From Lefkada, we drive straight across Greece, which turns out to be much bigger than I expected.
